When one wants to purchase loose diamonds or precious gemstones; all one would need is an internet connection.
There are plenty of websites that are dedicated to loose gemstone and diamond purchasing.
Gemstones and diamonds can be purchased as either a single, pair, or parcel and should always be accompanied by a grading report from either
the Gemological Institute of America(GIA) or any other accredited Institution.
The other option for gemstone and diamond purchasing is rock and mineral shows.
Unlike buying stones over the internet, these shows allow the consumer to be able to examine the gem or diamond up close and personal.
They also allow the consumer to purchase rough or already faceted (cut) gemstones at a very reasonable price.
